I absolutely LOVE when my couples choose their own locations, especially when the location means something special to them! Pier and Emily chose to include Pier's family lake house on Squam Lake for the backdrop of their session, mixing a bit of nostalgia along with their adventurous outdoor side. We started the session off a short distance down the road at the suggestion of Pier's mom, to grab some shots along with some iconic NH stonewalls, and dirt paths to make sure we included Emily and Pier's love for biking together.

We timed it out so that we would arrive back at the lake house just in time for sunset and headed out on the water. Using a canoe to capture some of my favorite images from the session gave such a dreamy and romantic feel to their session, and luckily they had a kayak just perfect for me to follow along in without interrupting their quiet time together.

We ended their incredible session with lots of love from their furbaby Nellie. The softest and sweetest little rescue pup you will ever meet!
